Recently the Town of Acton closed NARA Park due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes the 11 parking spots for the trail located in the NARA Park parking lot. However, the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail is still open as it passes NARA and barricades are in place to guide trail users to stay on the trail.
During these difficult times, healthcare experts advise us that its healthy to get outside and walk, run or bicycle. We ask that all trail users respect social distancing guidelines. We ask that trail users please:
Keep six feet between yourself and other non-family trail users. At times, this may mean briefly walking/cycling single file.
Cyclists and families with strollers should be prepared to move to the side of the trail or walk/ride single file.
Please carry out your trash and dog waste.
