The Chelmsford DPW has hired Arbor East to do extensive tree removal, pruning, and removal of brush/logs on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in Chelmsford during the month of August. Portions of the trail will be closed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, August 4th and each Tuesday during August. Additional work will be done along the trail, though some work may occur in November or December when trail utilization is lower. Updates will be posted on the Chelmsford Town website at www.townofchelmsford.us 
, along the trail and on various websites as the work proceeds.
The Rail Trail will be closed from 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. from the Pond Street location to the Chelmsford-Westford Line on Tuesday, August 4th.
