Hi all. I’m curious who might be on the BFRT today. I have to walk our awesomely cute and friendly dog Holly, but otherwise, not really into single digit and below outside activities.
Last year I sent out the year-end appeal on December 31st, which means I’m way ahead of this year, right?
In 2018 we will need funds to pay for kiosks, benches, porta-johns, trail signage, replacement pedestrian crossing system, maintenance of website and customer relationship management system, insurance, and the ribbon cutting party for Phase 2A in Acton, Carlisle & Westford. Who knows what else? Help pay for the design of access off of the Phase 2B Route 2 bridge (which we’ve learned definitively will not be part of the Phase 2B project, but an add-on project – so “Bridge the Gap” efforts will live on in some form); the final design in Sudbury, design of the connection from the current northern terminus at Cross Point through the Cross Point parking lot and across Industrial Ave to the right-of-way Gervais Automotive purchased and will be paving; somehow, someway start a big fundraising campaign to purchase the Phase 3 right-of-way from CSX in Sudbury.
