Concord Town Meeting starts Sunday, April 12, at 1:00 pm. Please support the Community Preservation Committee’s recommendation of $125,000 in funding for the BFRT at this year’s Town Meeting (Article 30 – Item H). Article 30 is scheduled for Tuesday night. These funds will assist with the completion of the design plan to bring the Trail into Concord from Acton, over Route 2 and through West Concord Center. (Phases 2B and 2C). The Town is working in cooperation with the Mass. Dept. of Transportation and Town of Acton to complete this phase of the project.
The 75% design of the trail through West Concord (Phase 2C) is expected to be completed this spring, with the project to be advertised for construction by fall of 2016.
