A contractor for National Grid will be performing periodic work on the high voltage power lines that cross the trail in Chelmsford near the Robin Hill Road and the Sunny Meadow connector path During May. This work will be conducted on weekdays between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and for safety reasons, there will be times where the trail will be closed in the section between Maple Road and the Chelmsford Swim and Tennis Club. Police details will be on the trail and trail users will not be allowed on this section of the trail during active work times. Signs are posted warning of this work.
It is best to avoid the section of the trail between High Street and Maple Road on weekdays during the month of May. Please use the detour routes either via Robin Hill Road or Hunt Road during this time period.
