Attendance at the event is now FREE! The Celebration will go on, RAIN or SHINE! Let’s get together outdoors and celebrate our work and accomplishments on trails in Massachusetts with friends, food and fun. Saturday, October 22nd, 9:30 am – 1 pm (registration begins at 9:00 am). At 1pm there will be optional trail trips planned at or near the state reservation.
Where: Mount Tom State Reservation, 125 Reservation Rd, Holyoke, MA
Details: The event will be held in an informal, meeting-room style for the purpose of discussing trails amongst your peers and celebrating successes in the Massachusetts trails community. There will be lots of food and cake!
Cost: There is no cost for this event.
What to Bring:We expect to hold the event outside under a tent. We will provide tables and chairs, morning refreshments; lunch and water refills (please bring your own water bottle). You will need to bring the appropriate gear for the trail expedition of your choice and be prepared for inclement weather at the actual event.
Tables: We invite participants to set up tables to share information about a particularly successful trail project and/or to spark conversation and discussion about a trail idea or construction method. Please let Amanda know if you are planning to do so.
