On May 20th, 2023 (time TBA), the Mural will be presented to the public.
Here is how you can participate in this community event:
Natural Beauties: Flora and Fauna along the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail
Join us in celebrating our local landscape and rail trail by making paintings of local plants and animals! The painting workshops are designed for people of all skill levels. We provide all the materials and step by step instructions.
All paintings made are eligible to be exhibited at the Fowler Library in May, with about 40 being selected to become part of a public mural of the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. The exhibit will open and the mural will be presented to the public on May 20th during Spring into West Concord..
To remove financial barriers, workshops are offered on a Pay-What-You-Can basis from $5 to $30.
There are several ways to take a workshop.
Register online for Thursday afternoons 6:30-8:30, and Saturday mornings, 10 to 12, at the Art for All studio. Register for one or more.
Arrange to bring a group to the studio at another time for your own workshop Contact hello@villageartroom.com for details
Are you an art instructor for people who are home or institution bound (e.g. school or nursing home)? Arrange to pick up materials or have them delivered. Contact hello@villageartroom.com.
