An update from Len Simon on the progress on the Hop Brook Bridge in Sudbury, MA:
“The first attached photo, 4823, shows Hop Brook as it was at 8:30 this morning, August 28, 2023.
By 11:30 AM the crews from Atlantic Steel and A.A. Will had placed the 7 steel beams that will form backbone of the bridge over Hop Brook, as shown in the remaining images. It was tremendously exciting to witness this giant step forward on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail.
Having in mind that construction of the BFRT started with vegetation clearing on January 23, just 7 months ago, there has been remarkable progress everywhere you look.”
