“Building Trails: A Path to Vibrant Communities” The semi-annual Massachusetts Trails Conference is coming up this Friday and Saturday Nov. 3-4, 2017 at the Double Tree Inn by Hilton in Leominster, MA. The Conference is sponsored by the Mass. Department of Conservation and Recreation and the Mass. Recreational Trails Advisory Board.
Friday Nov. 3 is devoted to field trips which are listed on the website. On Saturday, Nov. 4, the hotel will be the location for talks, luncheon and jam sessions. Several sessions will be devoted to rail trails. A complete list of sessions is on the website. This conference is a great opportunity to meet with folks who are facing a variety of challenges in building trails of all types (including rail trails).
